| 2007: Another growth year for World of Stock World of Stock, the fiercely independent little stock photo library continued to buck the trend and grow it's images and sales in 2007, experiencing overall growth in the 80% range. | Price reduction on Royalty Free web size images Now our lowest priced images are even more economical. Wev'e sized these images to be more in line with the needs of web designers and web content providers and decreased the price to $49, before any other discounts. View |
| Detailed larger Thumbnail listing Further improving on the scalable thumbnail displays added earlier, we have added another helpful display option. Now you can view one large thumbnail per row with some additional information about each image. Try the sample link below and then change the settings in the 'layout' drop down menu to view the different layout configurations. View |
| Larger Panoramic display Panoramic format images are great for showing the big picture, and they are becoming more popular. In light of this we've changed our image display pages to show the panoramic images across the top of the display area, a full 60% more viewable area than our non-panoramic images. | Cool new feature, scalable thumbnail display Now that our latest server upgrade is complete we have been taking advantage of the increased bandwidth and speed available to us. One of these changes is the upgrade to the 'layout' dropdown menu (previously referred to as 'grid'). You will see this as part of the search page, listed above the thumbnails. Now you can view more details in the thumbnails before clicking on them, allowing you to better decide on the images that will potentially work for you. To try it, just select one of the 'medium' or 'large' display options. View |
| Now download Rights Managed Images instantly Continuing to push innovative approaches to stock photography is one of World of Stock's hallmarks. Now World of Stock is offering virtually the same level of flexibility and fast turnaround found in their Royalty Free collection, in their growing Rights Managed collection. Clients will now have the option (some exceptions apply) to calculate a license fee using the simplified online price calculator, and if acceptable, proceed to purchase and download the image immediately. | World of Stock now offering Canadian Customers an option In our efforts to continue to offer flexibility to our client base, World of Stock is pleased to announce that we can now accept payment in Canadian Funds as well as our standard payment in US funds.
