How Time Flies...

About five years ago, after coming off a two year overseas assignment I sat down and drew up plans for a small image gallery site for myself and a few fellow photographers. The intent was to showcase some of the great locations we had the good fortune to visit and photograph.

Before long, other photographers, took note and asked to join our little co-operative. We grew ever so slowly at first with only a few sales. Fairly soon after this I realized that this little project had the potential to be a "serious" business. We added more photographers, educated ourselves on the industry and continued to expand and improve the site. More sales came, and more clients found the images they needed through our little website.

A couple of years ago, we incorporated and became more or less the World of Stock you know today, but we always took care not to try and expand beyond our means and never sacrifice the level of service our clients came to expect. The growth continues, and even in the five short years the industry has changed in dramatic fashion. Many improvements have been made and there are more yet to be rolled out.

To the close to 2000 or so of you who we've had the pleasure to deal with, thanks for sticking with us and helping us "beat the odds" and I look forward to continuing to provide you with the great images you and your clients expect.
