New online Image "Mega Zoom" Tool in place for World of Stock clients.

Designed specifically for our clients who don't want to deal with comp images, this online tool allows you to zoom into the details of an image at a level not before possible. Just click on the "mega-zoom" button from any image closeup page (currently this feature requires you to be logged in to an active client account).

Is Size everything?

World of Stock recently surpassed 165,000 images online. While this may seem like a lot, other online libraries have many times this many images available online. But is size everything? I don't believe so. I firmly believe that a library is only as good as the quality of it's searches. The perfect image is only useful if the end user can find it and access it quickly. Thats why we personally review the vast majority of the images coming into our database and thats why we reward those photographers who consistently contribute high quality images with accurate keywords with higher search placements and faster turnaround. That way these images come to the top of your searches, our search is more accurate and the photographers who take the most care potentially make the most sales. Thats also why 100% of our images are available for instant download, even our Rights Managed images. I think it's a better system, and is a win-win for our clients and our photographers. I hope you agree.

Major Lightbox improvements now in place

We asked, you replied and we responded with a major overhaul of our lightbox. We hope you like the new look and new features. Heres a summary of the changes;

• Images of different license types are now divided into sections so you can clearly see the difference.
• You can now apply actions (price, remove, view, etc) on single images, selected images or all images
• Perform actions from a dropdown menu OR from quicktool icons
• Improved handling when adding multiple images to shopping cart
• View all items in lightbox as slideshow
• Easily email saved lightboxes to colleagues for review

Please note that while the lightbox is available to everyone, advanced features such as saving and emailing lightboxes requires an active Client Account.
