We are looking for talented photographers and media artists to join our growing group of international contributors. There is no cost to join our gallery, we receive a low commission of only 40% on any sales of your work (you receive 50 - 60%, depending on the arrangement). We will host, market and sell your images as stock photos, either as Royalty Free (see our license agreement for details), Rights Managed or a combination of both. It's up to you how you want to license your work. We will also market your work as fine art prints to art buyers and individuals.

Photographers with Exclusive Arrangements or Photographers with images listed on  Micropayment Sites Need Not Apply. Why no Micropayment photographers? Its a matter of principle. We believe in providing a fair deal for photographers and Micropayment sites sell your work for peanuts and give you the shells. These new breed of sites are undermining the industry and we can't in good faith endorse those who are helping them do it....

Our current contributors like the amount of freedom, involvement and constant flow of information they receive about the gallery. We are all part of a team with a common interest in mind, sharing a common goal.... to become the best run stock photo gallery on the web....

Illustrators and Digital Artists Welcome

At this time we are looking at expanding our site to include sales of professional illustrations and digital artworks.

Specifically, we are looking for modern, sophisticated artwork that is commercially focused. Not the typical cartoon type clipart but something you could imagine on the front cover of an annual report, or on the labeling for a new product just being launched. This is a new area for us so those with experience in this area can help educate us on formats, typical buyers, managing rights, etc. The same agreement and options will be available to illustrators and digital artists that are available to photographers so see below for more specifics on why and how to apply.

What we are looking for

• Uniqueness and creativity, those who don't follow the crowd to try to make a fast buck but try to carve out their own niche and produce photos that say a little about themselves.
• Being a professional photographer is not essential but having photos that are technically solid, are large enough to be marketable and are eye catching is critical.
• We prefer Digital format to scans. If you are shooting digital, you'll need a Digital SLR of at least 8 MP or higher and high quality lenses.
• You'll need to caption and keywords all your files and have a high speed internet connection or be willing to send images on CD or DVD in our prescribed format.
• While we personally love pictures of sunsets, flowers, pets, wildlife, architecture and scenery there's just far too much of it out there available for free or very little money. Unless your landscapes are absolutely breathtaking there's really not much chance of it being marketable.
• If you like to take pictures of people, great! We will require proof of release on any images of people or private property to be sold for commercial purposes.
