Viewing the Lightbox
You can easily view the current contents of your lightbox anytime by clicking on 'Lightbox' from the top menu bar on any page. The items in your lightbox will all be displayed on one page as thumbnails and conveniently separated into Royalty Free (RF) and Rights Managed (RM) if necessary. Note: Some of the more advanced features such as saving and retrieving lightboxes require you to have an account setup with World of Stock first.
Many of these features can also be launched from the dropdown toolbar menu.
1. **
Open a Previously Saved Lightbox:
Allows you to open a previously saved lightbox. If you are logged in to a client
account you will see a list of previously saved lightboxes to select from, or you can enter the name of the lightbox you wish
to open. When opening a lightbox you can choose to either append it to your currently displayed lightbox or overwrite the currently displayed lightbox.
2. **
Save Lightbox for Later: Saves
your currently displayed lightbox to our database so you can retrieve it later
or email it to someone to view. You can even add comments for your viewers to
read specific to that lightbox. You will need to use a name that is between 4 and 24 characters in length
and is not used anywhere else.
3. **
Share Lightbox with others. Allows you to email the saved lightbox to anyone with a valid email address. This is very convenient when you want to get a second or third opinion on your selections. In order to share (email) a lightbox to someone you will need to save it first. The recipient will receive a snapshot of the thumbnails in the
lightbox and by clicking a link on the email can view your lightbox online. You
can also add your own comments to the top of the email and select your own
subject line.
4.
Play Lightbox as Slideshow. Plays all images in your lightbox as a slideshow so you can view the images in more detail one at a time. When a slideshow is playing you can click the
stop icon to stop at any time or pause, speed up or slow down the slideshow from the slideshow controls.
5..
Add Lightbox to
Cart: Allows you to price out and potentially purchase all or some of the items in your Lightbox. How this will function will depend on the mix of licensing types currently in your Lightbox.
In the dropdown menu you also have the option to add SELECTED images to cart, rather than all images AND you have the option to purchase ALL or SELECTED items as Prints.
6.
Clear Lightbox:
Clears all images in your currently displayed lightbox. Note, this will not
delete any previously saved lightboxes. You will still be able to open a
previously saved lightbox. You can also remove SELECTED images only by selecting (checking) specific thumbnails and selecting 'With Selected' and 'Remove' from the dropdown menu.
