Webmasters with high traffic photo, art, design, travel and/or other related sites. We will pay a minimum of 25% commission on affiliate referrals on sales of stock photos and/or fine art prints. That works out to as high as $60 or more per image in some cases. We pay referral commissions up to 14 days after the original click through so even if a customer visited your site two weeks ago you could still get paid commissions for a subsequent sales, and if they continue to visit our site the 14 days will refresh each time, thereby extending for a much longer period potentially.
Are you a high volume affiliate? As an additional incentive we will pay high affiliate commissions on monthly sales volume, based on the following chart;
25% on all sales up to $500 per month (you make up to $125 per month)
30% on the next $1000 in the same month (you make up to $425 per month)
40% on any sales over $1500 in the same month (the skies the limit....)
Even if you refer buyers outside of your website, we will pay these affiliate amounts (just call to verify the lead). Achieve enough sales and we might even make you a distribution partner !! This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are savvy marketers, either online or offline.
We can offer you banner ads, text ads, or search boxes or can even generate a customized store that you can integrate into your own site design. This store can be as large or as small as you want. You just tell us the types of images you would like to integrate into your site and we can do the rest. Top sellers may also have access to additional promotions and incentives.
Once you are signed up and approved you will get access to your own personalized affiliate page where you can get real time reports of your click-throughs and sales as well as a resource page with tons of great ideas for increasing your sales success.
We can create an online store for you that is only a few items or can contain every item in our database. There are two primary types of products we can provide;

Domain Ownership
You must own your domain and you must have a site in a related area (photography, printing, publishing, advertising, graphic design, fine art, shopping site, etc) where potential stock photo and fine art buyers may browse.
Click through Tracking
We are able to track sales by affiliates by the use of a cookie which is placed on the clients computer. This cookie is generally valid for 14 days from the date the client initially clicked through your site. Any orders placed by the client while this cookie is valid will contain the affiliate id and therefore will be included as part of the affiliate sales. This is however not an error proof procedure and depending on the clients browser settings and other factors beyond our control the tracking may not always work as planned. Affiliates can only be paid where the click through tracking procedure works as planned.
There is only one affiliate per sale. If within the 14 day period a client happens to click through another World of Stock affiliate site the affiliate site with the latest click through will be credited with the sale.
Payment
Payment will be made based on a minimum 15% of total sale price, after deduction of credit card and/or printing charges. Percentages may be increased based on sales volume.
Payment will be issued quarterly based on a $50 threshold or annually based on a $20 threshold. Payment will not be made until you reach a minimum of a $20 threshold in any case, however balances will roll over into the next quarterly period indefinitely.
Payment can be made by check in US funds or by Paypal®. Any costs incurred in arranging transmittal of payment beyond these methods will be deducted from the amount owing. We will not mail cash.
You will be provided with a user id and password where you can view any sales you have accumulated.
Agreement Terms
We reserve the right to change the terms of this agreement at any time based on business or other conditions. Affiliates will be notified by email of any such changes.
Affiliate agreement does not denote a partnership or indication of any business interest in World of Stock. You may not represent yourself as part of World of Stock or an employee or partner of World of Stock. You cannot use World of Stock in any of your marketing or other material, other than the affiliate links on your site, without our express permission.
Use of Images
Any and all images used in this program are protected by copyright and are owned by the photographers who contribute to World of Stock. You may only use images as contained within the various links and features offered within the programs and the images can only be used for the express purpose of working within the scope of this program. Any usage outside of the scope of this program must be pre-approved by World of Stock.
Proper Use of Agreement
Affiliate must not in any way use this agreement and program in any illegal or otherwise unethical way. World of Stock will not be held in any way responsible for any actions resulting from improper use of the agreement.
Affiliate must not use this agreement and program in any mass emailing campaigns, otherwise known as SPAM or utilize our name directly in any marketing campaigns.
Right of Refusal
Applying for an affiliate ID and inclusion in this program is not guaranteed. We can deny participation to any applicant who we feel would not meet the terms or does not meet our standards for professionalism, net etiquette or may not generate enough traffic to potentially justify the work involved to get them set up.
Termination / Cancellation
At our discretion, we can terminate the agreement at any time if we feel the terms are not being followed or there is insufficient business rationale to carry on the agreement.
By removing any links from your website you effectively cancel this agreement and thereby forfeit any balances owing. If you plan to cancel the agreement and wish to be paid out a balance you must let us know before removing the link(s) from your site.
Q: How do I know if this is right for my site?
A: Ideally your site should be in some way related to photography, travel, design, fine art, etc and you should receive enough traffic to justify the investment in your (and our) time to set this up. Your site should not be cluttered with ads and you should be willing to put in the work required to market your site. We can provide you with ideas on how to do that.
Q: Can I sell my own photography or art as well as be an affiliate site?
A: Absolutely. The affiliate store front can be a separate part of your site or can be alongside your own work.
Q: How will I know when I've made a sale?
A: We keep track of all inbound links that result in a sale and will send you reports if and when you have any sales along with your payment. We will also give you a link to our affiliates page where you can view that status at any time. See above conditions for more details on this.
Q: What's in this for World of Stock?
A: As a fairly new, aggressive online photo library we want to increase our recognition and brand awareness throughout the internet. The more links we have coming into our site the more traffic this generates for us. We are willing to take a lower commission and share this with our affiliates in order to increase our presence on the internet.
Q: How will the storefronts work?
A: We will provide you with sections of html code in table form you can insert into your site. These tables will contain thumbnails of images from our site that link to more details on our site. These tables can be from a select list of images, a particular photographer or theme, most popular, etc, whatever you want...They will be unformatted so that you can easily incorporate into your site style.
Q: Can I create my own storefronts as well?
A: Yes, if you are somewhat proficient in html we can provide you a template for creating your own links as well.
Q: How many items can I have in my store?
A: You can potentially have as many items as we have in our inventory, which is currently just over 40,000. Please note that for extensive storefronts like this we would only work with high traffic sites.
